Stars

I was walking to the bus stop from my tutee's home, I rose up my head, and saw many stars. Probably the rain had cleared up the clouds allowing stars to sparkle in the gloomy clear night sky.
When I was young,
I always wished upon a star,
I want to go home...I want to go home, I hate this place, someone save me.
Nothing came through until a few years later.
I was reminded of the countless time crying when I was young.

Maybe wishes only come through on a shooting star.

Chingay Day 2

Chingay day 2 was better, it begins with a drizzle, but it didn't escalate to a rain. The Promenade side was still muddy, but I am wearing an old shoe, and a comfortable one.

My leg is still bleeding throughout though.

Disaster..

Chingay Day 1 is a disaster.

Ruined my shoe, have to walk in the rain, blue black on my foot because shoe too tight,

I am pretty sad now because the stain on the show is uncleanable:(

Holiday(2) Phuket

It's really been awhile since I boarded a plane. The last time was.... I went to China, Yunnan, when I was Sec 1, I think. This time I am off to Phuket with my EID pals. You know, being with friends and family has completely different feel. When I went to Yunnan, is more like see mountain, see sand, more like SIGHTseeing. This time I am off, it's the free and easy kind, not with a tour guide. It should originally be a Batam trip... but this and this, and that and that, we went to Phuket instead.

Day1
1st day was checking in the hotel and exploring the shopping mall over there. A great advice to all of you, is not to go there, however tempting it is! The things there are expensive, about the same price as Singapore malls. But there are fast-food there and stuffs you will find in a typical local shopping mall. Went to watch the Simon Show, the transvestite show at night.

supper on 1st night

 Day 2
Went for snorkeling on day 2, and the night market at night. The rain the night before didn't have any effect on the weather on the second day. It was warm, really warm, which is a good day for suntanning on a boat. The boat was overcrowded with Caucasians, and we were like the minorities there. At night, we went to the night market and enjoy the food, as well as the cheap stuffs. And play some drinking game at night after showing off our "spoils of wars".

Day 3

On day 3, we went to nearby market to shop for more! hahaha, it's not really a shopping paradise here, but make do. I bought a keychain here for people back in Singapore, but I misplaced it :( sad to the max. Had another round of massage. At night we went to a nightclub. We also had supper at some roadside stall. The chicken mee was best for an empty stomach. Went back to hotel for Monopoly Deal. I felt real sleepy after drinking a lot of red wine, which was given to us by Huiling's sis taken from her hotel, who happened to come to Phuket one day after us. Visited their hotel and realised the difference in standard between 3-star and 4-star. Ours is still good, for the pricing. No photos were taken on Day 3

Day 4

Day 4 was nothing much...Pack bag, and prepare to go home. Surprisingly all of us could get up in time. Bought Baileys on Xs's recommendation, that is happily sitting happily in my home, dunno where. On the other hand, I have finished the Hoegarden over CNY, with my relatives of course.

Holidays

I think this holiday has been quite fulfilling compared all my holidays. It's a one-month holiday, but i seems pretty eventful. A lot of people flying for GIP and stuffs, a lot of times at airport, including one where fly off to Phuket. Celebrated New Year with a different group of people this year. Went Phuture, some stayovers, Insinyur stuffs, go out with Y1S1 coursemates, basketball with Secondary School pals. meet up with some people. Sound like doing a lot of things.

Let's start off with my 010111

New Year Countdown
Went with Xs, hl, wc, tt, yy, ddr to East Coast Park for the New Year Countdown. Actually, there is no fancy fireworks and stuff, only flares. Being quite afraid of being lost, we didn't cycle out of East Coast, so most of the time we were like playing "Big 2" with 2 sets of cards due to the number of people. A caution to all, don't rent bikes at the shop near the food centre, unless you want a sorry ass (literally). The seats were very uncomfortable.

The next time we will come to ECP again for countdown, we will not rent bike-_-, maybe bowling and stuff would be a better choice.

While trying to waste our night away, we stopped by a fitness corner and play the 100-seconds-no-NG (direct translation from 100 秒不NG) the pics are our respective positions.

The 1st trial was low kick, we did more challenging ones and included the gals as well, we switched stations too. I ended up doing Terrance's station too, and the bottom of my feet was freaking pain on New Year Day. So, conclusion, New Year Day- Pain! Pain on my butt and feet, but still filled with laughter.

To the people flying off

Visited the airport twice to send Daryl, Adele, and Meihong off. Also celebrated Joyce's birthday at Marche(I didn't know 313 got Marche until that day) before she left.

Before Meihong and Adele left, also had lunch with my Y1S1 people. Ate at Wild Honey for lunch and Ippudo for dinner. Also got shopping la, with meining, wanling, tiffany and austin. Never bought anything, wasn't shopping for my thing in the 1st place. (Very Boring!!!!)

Not a big fan of English breakfast, so I love the Ippudo Ramen. I have to go back and try it again someday. Super nice:) One pic with Meihong before she left.

Misc
Nearing to school, I also went to stayover at TingYi's house. Surprisingly, I don't feel weird, even though I am the only senior there, and a senior 2 academic years older. Played Street Fighter 4, and Wii for the whole night, and slept there. Woke up at 12pm and got ready for tuition. Hahaha.
