1 Year lo

My blog is officially 1 year old. Ok, I know very random.
Funny... I never thought I will be updating a blog for a year.

Firstly, I used to think keeping a blog is a waste of time. I still think it's a waste of time now. Haha
Secondly, I am never an essay kind of person. That's why I entered Engineering. Who would think I would frequently write a close to 200 words essay every week pointlessly, for fun!

So why? I firstly created this so that I can really pour all the unhappy, anxious, sad things into a place, instead of bottling up everything. However, as time goes, I think talking to someone, is actually much better. Well, I cannot share everything sad(that did take forever for a born-pessimist like me), but when things get too much... I guess talking helps, I think.

Another reason is, when you actually write something on the blog, you will do it, like running. I never find motivation to run for a long time. But somehow writing here seems to be like a contract. Making you do what you intended to do. I don't really understand why though. My New Year resolution is still underway though, most of it.

Maybe, writing makes me feel heard as well, I don't know, I think I probably will be blogging for a long time.

Anyways, thanks to all that frequently patron this dark and gloomy page. It's probably gonna stay dark, sorry. If I have given you this address, I think I feel comfortable sharing my life with you, and of course, I think you can stand bullshit. Haha

Mass Dance

Today was a pretty fun day. Woke up by a message from Joyce, GL I/C, at 7:30 a.m. Rare occasion to wake up early. Really feel like going back to sleep, then Ikhsan called and reminded me to kick soccer. Hahaha, so just go loh. Left home at 9. The venue was CCK, and near BPGHS. That's the only 2 information I have about the place. So guess what, I got lost. I dunno any street soccer court near there. So I walked, from BPGHS to Concord Primary, a little more down the road, and back, for close to 30 mins. Then I msged them nvm, I go for my other things. Funny thing, minutes after I msged, while walking back, cutting across buildings, I FOUND IT. It's like beings up there toying me, hahahaa. Played a few games. Realized now stamina damn cui, either is hunger, heat or thirst making me have dizzy spells.

Nowadays, cars got in-built GPS. If ever a human need an inbuilt GPS, it's gonna be me.

Managed to persuade Sengee to go for the mass dance. Dance the female part for the whole day, a bit er xin. haha. So you think I can dance? Guess again! I still screwed up here and there, but the mass dance is easier than last year:) Discussed about skit, ate at Asten's, watched movie play pool. I hate dancing, (sigh). I only dance under extreme conditions, too drunk, too high, too tired. I planning to disappear at all the mass dance events during Insinyur, shhh.


Watched Ghost of Girlfriends Past. Not a bad movie, humor is its selling point I guess. The story is something like the Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Except this time round, the ghosts are female, and the main character is not taught a lesson about generosity(in fact the main character is very generous...to girls), for being erm.. less of a Casanova? There is a lot of sexual reference throughout, so don't bring your parents to watch this movie, that's right, not even for Father's Day, please.

They says power in all relationships lies in whoever that care less. However, power isn't happiness. Happiness come from caring more for people, rather than less...

IT fair + K-box + Dad Bday

IT fair
Wanting to update for a long time, but really lazy, after the IT fair is over, feeling really tired. Talking non-stop for 4 days, has left me voiceless. I still went to sing overnight K-box the day after the last day of IT fair. Can tell you the voice is "sexy". Hahaha, very unfortunately, every time people from my hall jio me out to sing, I will be sick with sore throat or whatsoever. Anyways, that aside, IT fair was a fruitful experience for me, I have never tried sales in my life, so being able to earn some commission was satisfying. Original intention was just to earn the basic $200, but in the end, putting some effort into it, all managed to work out in the end. All thanks to people there encouraging me along the way there. So everything is about twice as good as popular fair, except for the fact that I have to wear an ultra tight-fitting shirt, compared to an apron.

Dad's Birthday
Dad's birthday was on 16 June. Went Vivo to eat. Nothing much, just like a normal family gathering. Seriously, we haven't been going out for a long time. Went White Dog's. Ordered the set lunch.

K-Box
Went K-box at AMK hub, while buying some stuff at the NTUC, I saw TiBO GPS, which happened to be the brand of GPS I am selling at the IT fair, heard they were having an event there. K-box was more or less the same, with me, hansen, caijie, elaine, zihao. Wanling couldn't make it. Did something funny this time round, when they told us last song, we went ahead and play the 情歌王 by 古巨基 which is a about. 13-min song. Ideal for last song. Since the song is made up of lyrics from a lot of songs, we took turn and pass the mic around to sing each verse. Ok, last song means, we cannot enter new songs, but, means we can repeat the song, I didn't know. So we sang extra like 10 mins? Haha, "cheap thrill" my roomie labelled it, couldn't agree more. LOL

So after all this, finally got to take a break on Tuesday, before resuming my tuitions. Went to teach today and going again tommorow. I cut my hair today, and I dun like how it turns out, I pray hair faster grow back.

Popular Fair is over, now IT fair..

Popular Fair job was from 27/5 to 8/6.
The work is actually quite slack, except for the opening and tear down, that's why if you looked back, there is only 1 not so positive post of it. Even though, our department was one of the most jia lat in Popular fair, having taken up almost 1/4 of the entire hall, during the event itself, we do simple jobs like directing customers, and also carrying around more books, whining about it, but definitely less than what we carried on the 1st day. Made a couple of friends there, whose chattering and encouragement, had made the time seems to move faster, albeit still at the pace of a snail. Time moves REALLY s...l...o...w. Can almost compare with my running pace, muhaha. No food is provided, and had to spend money on food at Expo, which is not very cheap.

Then had GL meeting at Tuesday, played a little Left 4 Dead(Our CGLs love it), and be an extra at Clark Quay.

Wednesday, went and watch Terminator 4, Salvation. Nice show for people who has watched the entire series, otherwise, many of the things you wouldn't understand. But still a nice show, with twists, but some I can predict, I am so proud, wahaha. Ok. A bit childish. Me, Wenlong, XueShuang, Ahmad went for daytona session in the arcade at PS, and I won, I feel so proud.. ok this is also damn childish. People often say I don't act my age... Maybe, I should change.. but how?

Now, left the IT fair, before I think I nua again. The IT fair, I selling Iriver MP3, which I think it's actually nice, as it's has a good sound quality... if only, I don't have a whole in the pocket. This event is much nicer than Popular, at least food is provided. Pay is 50 per day, without commisions. Hope can sell more, today, I only sold 2 yesterday.

Ok Bedtime. Nightz, gosh it's 2:30.

Outing with Swiss CO alumni.

Had a lunch meeting at Jingfeng's house today, with XiLei, Yingcong, Zinc, and Jingfeng. Ate curry chicken and wrap, both not cooked by me. I contribute only by eating. WAHAHA, oops. Really had fun, cooking together is actually a pretty fun thing, though I dunno how to cook, I helped peel vegetables nia. Got a bit of 幸福 feeling(especially when people are cooking while you are doing nothing:P oops)

Then after that went back to Swiss Cottage Secondary School, because 4/5 of us are from SCSS, and 3/4 were from Chinese Orchestra. So went back to visit the Swiss CO room. A lot of teachers that taught me are still in SCSS, but a lot got promoted le, to Subject head or HOD. Swiss CO got gold, even though there were crop-ups. Realised a lot of things, you see on the surface, you won't appreciate it until you know the stories behind, and listening to the teacher in-charge, I do believe it is a very big achievement. Got 1 main player's grandfather passed away, and cannot come for the SYF, yet they still can get gold.

Then, went to MOS burger for dinner. Talk a lot about our ex-teachers. Got a bit of insights for teaching as a career. Zinc shared a lot of story, that makes me think their batch, really very happening compared to our batch, or maybe I was too low profile. Hahaha. A lot of interesting stories, very entertaining=P
