Shopping and Mt Faber

25/10/08 Sat
Studied with Xilei a few hours at Marina Sq's Starbucks. From 2 to 5.30 ard there. Saw a few familiar people there, at Marina,(ie Joyce doing some CAC stuff, hall 9 couple paktoking, Sokchea and his gf(?)) Rather fruitful, managed too clear Chemistry Tutorial 1 and 2. After that, we went to shop for my shoes. More or less, decided on a Levi's one, it's the first that caught my attention, but still went Heeren to look for more choices, and ended up, buying the same shoe I saw at Marina. Buahaha, went to shop a bit, and as usual, saw stuff that I like and couldn't afford :( It's really been a while since I went town, go quite a few changes, like Paragon, Ion. I felt more lost then the last time there, not like I had a good sense of direction to begin with.

Studied in the morning, and went out to Vivo with my army buddies. Got a JC chem textbook from Guoping, hopes it will help in my organic chem. We went to shop about various stores, some of us bought a few clothes, and I felt too broke to buy anything.

We went and eat at White Dog cafe after shopping around. It's the only restaurant I ate before at Vivo, sadly, even though Vivo and my home is 7 bus-stops apart.

Then, we walked around aimlessly, while waiting for 2145 to come, since the Sushi will be on sale :P and took more photos.

We went and bought chips, drinks and sushi ,then we went a mini-hiking. The path was really dark. When we reach the peak(?) of Mount Faber, we sat and ate. The scenery on top is pretty nice, I jogged up a few times. The place we sat at was one of the popular spots couples sit.

We were sitting there and talking, and also peeping at a couple near us. They were kissing rather...intimately, while we were just looking discreetly. The guy probably saw us looking, that's why they never really did anything weird? hehehe, the whole time we were just imagining what they were thinking and saying. Ok, we didn't meant to peep, we were waiting for a bus, and, this is a public place, isn't it?

The bus journey was very long, because some inconsiderate ppl parked their cars inconsiderately, and disallow the bus to get through, we were stuck for a long time, and some of us has to take cab back home, with midnight surcharge...

Dizzy

I've been getting dizzy spells a lot recently, since Sunday, one side of head feels heavier than the other. What's happening... Anyone got any ideas? I cannot spend too much time sleeping, yet taking short naps seems the only way this dizziness will go away. Stupid weak body...

Celebrated Wenlong's birthday on Monday, bought a chocolate truffles cake from the Quad. It was a very short celebration. Not everyone turned up though. But I guess we could say, majority turned up.

Had my econs quiz today, seems ok. Shall start mugging for thursday's maths. Hope it would not be too hard....
I pop panadols like sweets recently. Freaking headache.

random updates

Went Jurong Point to eat and watch movie with Melody just now and I also cut my hair.

Has my first Crystal Jade experience. I find the 小笼包 very nice, I ate a bowl of noodles which I forgot the name le. Wah, my memory is really short term. Was pretty pissed with the waiting time. Luckily, we still manage to be in the cinema on time. This is the movie we caught.

《武侠梁祝》

The show began by saying the 金童玉女 of the Jade Emperor fell in love with each other and was banished from heavan to face 10 tribulations of love. The 武侠梁祝 depicts one of the disastrous love story they experience. This show was another "Romeo and Juliet" kind of tragic story. 吴尊 acted as 梁仲山 and 阿Sa acted as 祝言之 in the movie. 祝言之was disguised as a male, sent to 逍遥山 to train in martial arts, as a pretext to escape a catastrophe that is about to happen to the 祝family. Somehow, 梁仲山 fell in love and they became together after 梁仲山 found out 祝言之 was actually a female. The expression 吴尊 gives is identical to the Hana Kimi scene, in my opinion, except the female lead different.
After that, 祝言之's 青梅竹马 which she addressed as Brother Ma, told her the truth, then in a series of events, she was forced to marry him. The sad part of the story was where she said she doesn't like the protagonist.... I shouldn't spoil the story so much.

Anyway, that aside. I failed the basketball trials, which is like expected, I am not athletically inclined.
My Levi's shoe is in disrepair, and I can longer wear it... Need to buy a new one. Who want to bei me go town? Hmz.. nvm..

Happening.

Just took my needed break in the duration of 10-12 October. Went singing (twice), had free lunch :D and dinner. Hahaha, the hungry ghost is out, for the second time.

10/10/08 Friday began. My eyes were close to be unable to open as I dragged myself to the LKC lecture hall. I was late(and omigosh, later than LT,:P). Insomnia and negative thoughts, they sucks. The Chem teacher was giving me an image of doing a boring opera in a foreign language, and sucking out my remaining soul for studying. Then I slept for the 1st half of Computing lecture, before waking up a bit fresher to listen. Then I had a 5-hr break(officially should be 4 hour) in between, so went JEC to sing with some of my hall people.

The gals sang good, honestly, the other two were like in a different league altogether, especially when I have blocked nose.

Ok, then, with a slightly more delightful mood, I went back for Maths lecture.

11/10/08 Saturday, was supposed to be at home. But Ahmad invited me to his house for Hari Raya celebrations. Thus, I remained at hall, since his house is situated in the West too. Woke up and overslept in my cozy room...with sore throat. Then met Leeting and Benedict to go together. His mum and sister were really nice, kept asking me to eat more, and not to be be shy. We ate the food, which was delicious, I would have ate more if I dun have sore throat, haha. After we ate, we played some console games. Car racing and Naruto. We took a group photo together, but unfortunately, I did not get it yet, shall upload when I get. After the whole thing, I went back hall and it was 4++, figured out no point going home, so stayed for the night again.

12/10/08 Sunday. Woke up with a worse sore throat, overslept (again). Went K-box in JEC... this feeling is like too familiar. This time, we sang at room 13 instead of 18, or the other way round. I had the same K-lunch. I was there with my JC pals, namely.. see the photos yourself, yah? ZhiJie was there to make the whole thing more fun, singing all the ever-retro song, that's like not our generation, hahaha. No determing to lose out, I also put in some old songs like 爱得正好，你的眼睛，真心话（nice!). Then got one song in paricular, the MTV caught my attention, called 凡人歌，by 李宗盛. The MTV, is funny in my opinion, wonder how the people of his generations find it though. WaiSeng came late though. Birthday boy where can come late. Birthday gal(Shimin) waiting lehz...not like I have the right to say anyone though.

We went to the second celebration. The theme was "Monochrome" which is suitable, because, I wear black most of time anyway. The event was located at some civil servant club near the Bukit Batok MRT, for barbacue. That place was filled with many people I don't know. Wanted to throw Jonathan into the pool, but entering the pool requires a fee, and throwing him down, was pretty impossible. Sad.... The food was nice. It was my first time eating what Jonathan call Choco-banana. Too bad the others couldn't make it... Freaking Uneventful

I never update 'cos there is nothing much to update....life's not eventful recently. My life's event can be summarised as one phrase "mug with no heart in it". The only time I went out recently was to JP, and the aim was to clarify Chemistry stuff.-_-

Suddenly, being alive seems like being dead....but, it's still better than having nothing to do, and feeling like a pathetic empty vessel.

One minor interesting thing did happen though, when I went home on Saturday. and was at JP, sourcing for food, this Caucasian lady suddenly walk from behind me and almost held my hand. Being pretty stunned, I retracted my hand right away. Guess my reaction shocked her as well. She turned behind and looked at another guy and laughed. Turn out she walked too fast, and thought that her boyfriend was still beside her. She felt for his hand to hold, which unfortunately turned out to be my hand. Hahaa, I gave her a smile, and walked away.

Since other than this there is nothing to update, I shall post random stuff...
